Vancouver literature and film

Vancouver Literature and Film is a welcoming reading and discussion community for people who love books, stories, ideas, and the conversations they inspire. We bring readers together to discover and discuss compelling works across fiction, poetry, historical fiction, romance, mystery, social issues, cultural studies, leadership, spirituality, personal transformation, research based nonfiction, and other thought provoking genres. We are interested not only in what a book says, but in the questions it raises, the experiences it explores, and the connections it creates between readers. Our community also explores the relationship between literature and film, looking at how stories, characters, themes, and human experiences can be interpreted across different forms of storytelling. Through book discussions, featured selections, author spotlights, and community conversations, we create opportunities for readers to engage with meaningful works and, when possible, connect more closely with the authors behind them. Whether you're an avid reader, a casual book lover, a writer, a film enthusiast, or simply someone who enjoys thoughtful conversation, you're welcome to join us. Read. Discuss. Discover. Connect. Vancouver Literature and Film is a place where great stories become meaningful conversations.
