The Greater Wilmington-Newark Book Club

The Greater Wilmington-Newark Book Club The Greater Wilmington-Newark Book Club is a welcoming reading community dedicated to discovering, reading, and discussing compelling contemporary fiction and nonfiction. We bring readers together through thoughtful monthly discussions, engaging literary events, author conversations, and opportunities to discover books and storytellers that deserve a wider audience. Our goal is more than simply finishing a book. We create meaningful conversations around stories, characters, ideas, experiences, and the themes that stay with readers long after the final page. One of our featured programs is our Author Spotlight, which gives selected authors an opportunity to connect with our reading community and introduce readers to their work through a dedicated spotlight and author conversation. Our Author Spotlight is offered through promotional packages designed for authors who would like additional visibility and extended exposure surrounding their feature. Depending on the package selected, promotional opportunities may include official author recognition, expanded promotion before and after the event, featured placement, reader engagement, book recommendations, and continued visibility beyond the live author conversation. We believe the value of an Author Spotlight extends beyond a single event. Our promotional approach is designed to create awareness before the spotlight, encourage reader participation during the event, and keep the author's work in front of our community afterward through continued discussion and recommendations. For authors interested in additional promotional exposure, our Spotlight Packages provide different levels of recognition and promotional reach. Package details, pricing, and inclusions are discussed with each invited author before the event so expectations and promotional arrangements are clear from the beginning. At the heart of everything we do is a love of books, meaningful discussion, and connecting readers with authors whose stories have something worth sharing.
