Glasgow Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Horror Book Group

Glasgow Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Horror Book Group Welcome to Glasgow Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Horror Book Group—a community for readers who love extraordinary stories, imaginative worlds, and books that stay with you long after the final page. We explore the limitless possibilities of science fiction, fantasy, horror, dystopian fiction, paranormal stories, speculative fiction, dark fantasy, and supernatural tales. From distant galaxies and futuristic societies to ancient kingdoms, mysterious creatures, haunted places, and unsettling worlds, our reading journey embraces the full spectrum of genre fiction. At the heart of our group is conversation. We come together to share perspectives, unpack characters and themes, debate memorable moments, discover new authors, and explore the ideas hiding beneath the surface of great stories. Whether a book leaves you fascinated, terrified, inspired, confused, or desperate to talk about the ending, there is always room for your perspective. We welcome readers with different tastes and experience levels—from lifelong genre enthusiasts to people discovering these genres for the first time. Our goal is simple: discover great stories, have meaningful conversations, meet fellow readers, and explore worlds beyond the ordinary, one book at a time. Read. Discuss. Imagine. Together.
